Crawford outlines a number of points for John Major, British Prime Minister, to make in a telephone call with John Bruton, Taoiseach, on 31 July 1996. The points regard the progress made in the opening plenary multi-party negotiations. Crawford also urges Major to pursue a further meeting with the UUP [Ulster Unionist Party].
