A letter recording a meeting David Blatherwick had with Seán Ó hUiginn to hand over the letter from Patrick Mayhew to Albert Reynolds. o'hUiginn emphasising the importance of allowing time for a provisional response and noting that there was pressure from the nationalist community to accept the Declaration. The bluntness/tactlessness of the Caraher comments in Reynolds' letter were debated, as was extradition and section 31.
