A note from Clare Checksfield of the Northern Ireland Office responding to John R Fisher of the Anglo-Irish Secretariat, dated 11 June 1996. Checksfield informed Fisher that the points raised by the Irish side of the Anglo-Irish IGC [Intergovernmental Conference] on prisons issues had also been raised by the Irish Embassy, and that the Home Office would try to provide Northern Ireland Office ministers with a situation report.
