{BRITISH COUNTER DRAFT} {11.00 AM 18/7/96}
RESOLUTION
The participants recognise the need to obtain widespread support in both the unionist and nationalist communities respectively, and throughout Northern Ireland, for any comprehensive agreement that may result from the negotiations. Therefore, the participants envisage that before they finalise any such agreement they will assess whether it is capable of securing sufficiently widespread support throughout the community as will give political efficacy to such agreement.
