Photocopied note by Dermot Nally of meeting (tête-à-tête) between Albert Reynolds and John Major on 16 June 1996 discussing the latest text of the Joint Declaration [JD6]. John Major emphasised that the current text was not acceptable but agreed to allow Dermot Nally, Robin Butler, John Chilcot and Seán Ó hUiginn to discuss it further in an attempt to make progress. Further includes two covering notes, to Seán Ó hUiginn and Albert Reynolds.
