Note on possible institutional arrangements between North and South

Writing Peace: Dermot Nally Collection

1993-10-03

Photocopied note by Dermot Nally, prepared at the request of Albert Reynolds, Taoiseach, on possible institutional arrangements between North and South. Dermot Nally proposes two alternatives: “(1) to conceive of an organisation to carry out agreed functions on an all-Ireland basis; or (2) to push ahead with the development, as far as possible, of the Anglo-Irish Inter-Governmental Conference.” Dermot Nally states that he favours option two but that either option should involve a constitutional referendum.
