Robert S. More

A Democrat from the Twenty-third District, the sixty-one year old farmer lived in Puyallup. Born in Scotland, More came to the United States in 1831 and to Puget Sound in 1853. He had been a county commissioner since 1854 and was a member of the territorial legislature in 1857-58 and 1871. He took part in the Indian wars and helped build the Naches road. More served on the following committees: Water and Water Rights; Harbors, Rivers, Tidewaters and Navigable Streams.
