Born in Massachusetts in 1828, Fay came to Puget Sound in 1874 and moved to Steilacoom in 1878. He was county commissioner of Pierce county in 1886. Robert S. More Visualize A Democrat from the Twenty-third District, the sixty-one year old farmer lived in Puyallup. Born in Scotland, More came to the United States in 1831 and to Puget Sound in 1853. He had been a county commissioner since 1854 and was a member of the territorial legislature in 1857-58 and 1871. He took part in the Indian wars and helped build the Naches road. More served on the following committees: Water and Water Rights; Harbors, Rivers, Tidewaters and Navigable Streams. 23.
