Thomas Jenckes

(2 November, 1818 -- 4 November, 1875) Jenckes was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Cumberland, R.I., Jenckes studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1840. Jenckes was elected as a Republican to the Thirty-eighth and to the three succeeding Congresses.
