Charles Upson

(19 March, 1821 -- 5 September, 1855) Upson was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Southington, Conn., Upson studied law at the Yale Law School in 1844 and moved to Michigan in 1845. Upson was a member of the State senate in 1855 and 1856 and was elected as a Republican to the Thirty-eighth, Thirty-ninth, and Fortieth Congresses.
