United States Thirteenth Amendment 1863-65

(2 September, 1826 -- 11 November, 1914) Bennet was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Franklin County, Maine, Bennet studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1851. Bennet moved to Denver, Colorado in 1859. After Colorado was admitted as a Territory for representation, Bennet was elected as a Conservative Republican as a Delegate to the Thirty-seventh Congress.
