(10 January, 1819 -- 24 December, 1899) Morris was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Rogersville, Greene County, Pa., Morris moved to Ohio with his family in 1829. Morris studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1843. Morris was elected as a Democrat to the Thirty-seventh and Thirty-eighth Congresses.
