(15 November, 1815 -- 11 August, 1885) Mallory was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Madison County, Va., Mallory studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1837. Mallory was elected as an Opposition Party candidate to the Thirty-sixth Congress and reelected as a Unionist to the Thirty-seventh and Thirty-eighth Congresses.
