AGREED STATEMENT

The first plenary sessions of strand one took place today. The first session began just before lunch when the Secretary of State made some introductory remarks. The second session was made up of an introductory presentation by the Alliance Party, followed by one by and the SDLP, followed in both cases by an exchange of views.

The next session will begin at 10.30 am tomorrow. The Ulster Unionist Party and the Ulster Democratic Unionist Party will make individual introductory presentations tomorrow.
