No. 25.

Introduced by Mr. Cassidy of Maricopa County.

A Proposition Relative to Prohibiting Public Officers From Accepting or Using Passes.

It is hereby proposed:

It shall not be lawful for any person holding public office in this State to accept or use a pass or to procure or purchase transportation from any railroad, street railway or other corporation, except as the same may be purchased by the general public.

Any public officer violating the provisions of this Section shall forfeit his office, and any corporation issuing a pass or furnishing transportation in violation of this section shall be punished as may be provided by law.
