The Committee on Railroads presents reports on Propositions Number 25, 34, and 81, but the Convention re-refers the propositions to the Committee. The Committee on Labor reports on Propositions Number 47, 39, and 38 are adopted, and the propositions are referred. The Convention considers Propositions Number 124 and 125, which are read the first time and referred to the Committee on Printing.

A PROPOSITION

No. 25.

Introduced by Mr. Cassidy of Maricopa County.

A Proposition Relative to Prohibiting Public Officers From Accepting or Using Passes.

It is hereby proposed:

It shall not be lawful for any person holding public office in this State to accept or use a pass or to procure or purchase transportation from any railroad, street railway or other corporation, except as the same may be purchased by the general public.

Any public officer violating the provisions of this Section shall forfeit his office, and any corporation issuing a pass or furnishing transportation in violation of this section shall be punished as may be provided by law.
