No. 65.

Introduced by Mr. A. F. Parsons of Cochise County.

A Proposition Relative to Exemption of Certain Property from Taxation.

It is hereby proposed:

Section 1. There shall be exempt from taxation the property of widows, deserted wives or orphan children, not to exceed the amount of one thousand dollars to any one family, where their total assessment does not exceed two thousand dollars.

Section 2. All heads of families residing within this State not owning real estate and owning personal property not exceeding in value five hundred dollars shall have exempt from taxation property to the amount of two hundred fifty dollars.
