Session 16402: Wednesday, 15 May 1991, at 12:00

The Unionist leaders meet with the Prime Minister. After the meeting issue a statement, indicating that they have received reassurances and are prepared to proceed with Strand 1 while issues regarding the Chairmanship and locations of Strands 2 and 3 are resolved. We do not have a record of the meeting and we do not know the precise timing. References to the meeting in the correspondence the following day indicate that it took place in the afternoon.
