Roswell Hart

"(August 4, 1824 -- April 20, 1883) Roswell Hart was a lawyer, businessman. superintendent of a railway mail service, and American politician. Hart was born in Rochester, New York. Hart studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1847 and was superintendent to the Railway Mail Service for the States of New York and Pennsylvania (1869-1876). Roswell was elected as a Republican to the 39th Congress (March 4, 1865 - March 3, 1867) and was not reelected in 1866.
