The Civil Rights Act of 1875

Horace F. Page

(October 20, 1833 — August 23, 1890) Page was a lawyer, businessman, and miner. Horace Page was born in Orleans County, New York and moved to California in 1854. He was engaged in many businesses, including the sawmill business, livery-stable business, and mining. He studied law and practiced in the State of California. He was elected as a Republican to the Forty-Third Congress and served in the following four Congresses. He served from March 4, 1873 to March 3, 1883.
