United States Thirteenth Amendment 1863-65

George H. Yeaman

(1 November, 1829 -- 23 February, 1908) Yeaman was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Hardin County, Ky., Yeaman studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1852. Yeaman served as a member of the State house of representatives in 1861 and was elected as a Unionist to the Thirty-seventh Congress to fill a vacancy created by the death of James S. Jackson and was later reelected to the Thirty-eighth Congress.
