James T. Hale

(14 October, 1810 -- 6 April, 1865) Hale was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Bradford County, Pa., Hale studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1832. Hale was elected as a Republican to the Thirty-sixth and Thirty-seventh Congresses and as an Independent Republican to the Thirty-eighth Congress.
