Thomas B. Cooper

(December 29, 1823 — April 4, 1862) Thomas Buchecker Cooper, a Representative from Pennsylvania; born in Coopersburg, Pa., December 29, 1823; attended the public schools and Pennsylvania College at Gettysburg; was graduated from the medical department of the University of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia in 1843 and commenced practice in Coopersburg; elected as a Democrat to the Thirty-seventh Congress and served from March 4, 1861, until his death in Coopersburg, Pa., on April 4, 1862; interment in Woodland Cemetery.
