Charles Pelham

(March 12, 1835 — January 18, 1908) Pelham was a lawyer and politician. Charles Pelham was born in Person County, North Carolina and moved to Alabama in 1838. He studied and practiced law until 1862, when he enlisted in the Confederate Army. He was elected to Congress as a Republican to the Forty-Third Congress from March 4, 1873 to March 3, 1875.
