Edward I. Golladay

(September 9, 1830 — July 11, 1897) Golladay was an American politician and lawyer. Edward Isaac Golladay was born in Lebanon, Tennessee in 1830. He graduated from the literary department of Cumberland University in 1848 and also from the law department of the same university in 1849. Golladay served in the State House of Representatives in 1857 and 1858, while practicing law in Lebanon. During the Civil War, he enlisted in the Confederate Army and attained the rank of colonel. Golladay was elected as a Democrat to the United States House of Representatives and served from March 4, 1871 to March 3, 1873.
