Elisha D. Standiford
(December 28, 1831 — July 26, 1887) Standiford was a medical doctor, businessman, and politician. Elisha David Standiford was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1831. He graduated from the Kentucky School of Medicine and practiced medicine until abandoning the practice to work in agriculture. Standiford served in the Kentucky State Senate in 1868 and 1871. He was elected as a Democrat to the United States House of Representatives and served from March 4, 1873 to March 3, 1875.
