Melvin M. Godman

A Democrat from the Ninth District, the thirty-three year old lawyer lived in Dayton. Born in Missouri in 1856, Godman was educated at Pacific Methodist College in California and came to Washington in 1880. Godman served on the following committees: Homestead and Property Exemptions, chairman; Judicial Department; Revenue and Taxation.
