Isaac Coles

(2 March 1747 – 3 June 1813) Planter and U.S. Representative. Following his role as a colonel in the Virginia militia during the Revolutionary War, Coles was elected as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates. He attended the state convention for the ratification of the U.S. Constitution, which he opposed. He later served in the House of Representatives from 1789 to 1797. [‘Isaac Coles’, Wikipedia]
