Myer Strouse

(16 December, 1825 -- 11 February, 1878) Strouse was a German American lawyer and politician. Born in Bavaria, Germany, Strouse immigrated with his father to the United States in 1832. Strouse studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1855. Strouse was elected as a Democrat to the Thirty-eighth and Thirty-ninth Congresses.
