Thomas T. Davis

(22 August, 1810 -- 2 May, 1872) Davis was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Middlebury, Addison County, Vt., Davis moved to New York in 1817 with his parents. Davis studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1833. Davis was elected as a Unionist to the Thirty-eighth Congress and reelected as a Republican to the Thirty-ninth Congress.
