United States Thirteenth Amendment 1863-65

Frederick A. Pike

(9 December, 1816 -- 2 December, 1886) Pike was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Calais, Maine, Pike studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1837. After he began practice in Calais, he became the mayor in 1852 and 1853. Pike was elected as a Republican to the Thirty-seventh and to the three succeeding Congresses serving from March 4th, 1861 to March 3rd, 1869.
