(23 January, 1818 -- 27 June, 1867) Denison was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Wyoming Valley, Pa., Denison studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1840. Denison was elected as a Democrat to the Thirty-eighth, Thirty-ninth, and Fortieth Congresses.
