(1 January, 1818 -- 28 September, 1874) Ganson was an American lawyer and politician. Born in Le Roy, Genesee County, N.Y., Ganson studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1846. In 1862 and 1863, Ganson served as a member of the State senate. Ganson was elected as a Democrat to the Thirty-eighth Congress.
