(8 February, 1804 -- 12 February, 1873) Kalbfleisch was an American factory owner and politician. Born in Flushing, Holland, Kalbfleisch immigrated to the United States and settled down in New York City in 1826 where he established a chemical factory at Greenpoint, N.Y., in 1844. Kalbfleisch was elected as a Democrat to the Thirty-eighth Congress.
