(18 March, 1828 -- 22 December, 1875) Wilder was an American businessman and politician. He was born in Mendon, Worcester County, Mass., but moved to Kansas in 1857 and engaged in business. In the Civil War, Wilder was a captain in Kansas brigade. Wilder was elected as a Republican to the Thirty-eighth Congress.
