(November 26, 1826 — June 28, 1898) James Wallace Robinson was an American politician and lawyer. Robinson was born in Carby, Ohio in 1826. He graduated from Jefferson College in 1848, and then graduated from Cincinnati Law School in 1851. After studying law, he was admitted to the bar and practiced law in London, Ohio. Robinson served in the State House of Representatives from 1860 to 1862, and again in 1864. He was elected as a Republican to the United States House of Representatives and served from March 4, 1873 to March 3, 1875.
