"(April 29, 1826 -- January 28, 1876) Henry Howard Starkweather was a(n) lawyer, public servant, postmaster, and American politician. Starkweather was born in Preston, Connecticut. He studied law and was admitted to the bar. Henry served as a member of the state house of representatives (1856), as a delegate to the Republican National Convention (1860 and 1868), and as a postmaster of Norwich, Connecticut (1861-1865).
