Gordon N. Mott | Visualize | (21 October, 1812 -- 27 April, 1887) Mott was an American politician and lawyer. Born in Zanesville, Ohio, Mott studied law and was admitted to the bar. Afterwards, he served in Texas during the struggle for independence for nine months. In 1861, Mott moved to Nevada and was elected as a Republican to the Thirty-eighth Congress.
