Description

Gerald Brady (27), a Catholic civilian, was shot dead by the UVF in Blackthorn Park, Sunnylands, Carrickfergus. Cecil Dougherty (30), a Protestant civilian, was shot dead by the UVF during a gun attack on a worker's hut in Newtownabbey, County Antrim. In the same attack, William Corrigan (32), a Protestant civilian, was also shot and mortally wounded and died 10 July 1994. Both men were assumed to have been Catholics.
