The Irish Times published an article which outlined a set of proposals on Northern Ireland which were purported to have been handed to Tom King, then Secretary of Sate for Northern Ireland, in January 1988 by James Molyneaux, then leader of the UUP, and Ian Paisley, then leader of the DUP. These proposals contained suggestions about the future governance of Northern Ireland.
