Description

The PIRA exploded a bomb, estimated at 600-lbs and contained in a van, close to Windsor House in Bedford Street, in the centre of Belfast. The bomb caused extensive damage to property in the area. A warning of approximately 30 minutes was given. Two RUC officers, and a British Army (BA) soldier, were slightly injured by the explosion.
