The Convention

Washington State Constitutional Convention 1889

Messages and petitions were received. The majority and minority reports of Committee on State, County and Municipal Indebtedness were presented. The report of the Committee on Preamble and Bill of Rights was presented. The article on County, City, Township Organization was then taken up, discussed, adopted and referred to the Committe on Revision, Adjustment, and Enrollment. The Convention then resolved into the Committee of the Whole to discuss the Report of the Committee on Executive Department and Pardoning Power.
