The Civil Rights Act of 1875

"(January 19, 1819 -- May 20, 1887) Jacob Shall Golladay was a(n) public servant and American politician. Jacob was born in Lebanon, Wilson County, Tennessee and moved to Kentucky in 1845. He was member of the State house of representatives (1851 - 1853) and member of the State senate (1853 - 1855). He was elected as a Democrat to the 40th Congress to fill the vacancy caused by the death of Elijah Hise. He was reelected to the 41st Congress when he resigned (December 5, 1867 - February 28, 1870).
