[Business Committee Report

The Business Committee have discussed the whole aspect of education and have concluded that the Forum should be asked to note today that we are extremely unhappy with the present situation.

We are extremely mindful of the importance of education in Northern Ireland and it is important that Forum speak with a clear voice.

The Business Committee will meet on Wednesday to try to reach a consensual motion for full debate in the Forum next Friday.

The Business Committee recommends that the Forum indicate to the Chairman that he write to the Secretary of State marking that the intention of the Forum is to discuss the matter further next week.]
