A Proposition Relative to Public Health.

It is hereby proposed:

As the public health of the people is very essential to their well being and to the happiness, success and permanence of the State; it shall be the duty of the Legislature to promote this very vital interest, with special attention to promoting regulations for cleanliness which is so much needed in towns and cities.
