A Proposition Relative to Direct Primary.
IT IS HEREBY PROPOSED:
All nominations of persons for elective public offices (including the office of member of congress) shall be by direct vote of qualified electors and not otherwise. The Legislature at its first session, shall by enactment or by amendment of the direct primary law of the Territory of Arizona, make provisions for a nominating system in accord with this Article.
