A Proposition Relative to Violations of Injunction Powers of Courts.
It is hereby proposed:
No court authorized by this Constitution shall have the power to issue any writ of injunction or any part of any writ of injunction, which shall forbid any person or persons, association or associations, from doing anything which such persons, association or associations, have a legal right to do under the guarantee of the Constitution of the United States and of this Constitution; and if any judge of any court now, or hereinafter to be, established by authority of this Constitution shall violate this article and shall, further, enforce any writ of injunction or any part of any writ of injunction or such part of a writ of injunction, or, shall further punish any person or persons, association or associations, for disobeying such writ of injunction or such part of a writ of injunction, he shall be guilty of malfeasance in office and shall be subject to impeachment and trail of judges; and if on impeachment and trial such judge be found guilty of violations of this article he shall forfeit his office.
