TALKS STATEMENT

The Secretary of State had a number of meetings through the day with the leaders of the parties participating in the Talks.

In the afternoon a Plenary meeting also took place.

There was, in addition, a meeting of the Business Committee for the purpose of setting up a sub-committee which will meet tomorrow (27 May). There will be a further Plenary meeting on Monday 1 June to which the sub-committee will report.
