Fresh talks should start after an IGC in mid-to-late January. The talks would run until a General Election has been declared. After polling day, for a pre-defined period, talks would resume. During the periods before the election is called or after polling day, no Conference meetings would occur. However, an IGC would be held in the election period itself.
