Meeting to discuss business of the Forum
This Forum, while recognizing the merits of local participation in economic development/redevelopment and in social programmes which make use of various public funding sources, is concerned by the apparent lack of accountability of some community-based bodies and the sustainability of some initiatives, and calls on the Northern Ireland Office to set up a regular reporting system and to periodically make public the progress of such community-based initiatives.
