Chaired by Ivan Davis; Motion on Jobseeker Allowance introduced and referred to Forum; Motion on Privatisation of Water Service introduced and referred to Forum; Discussion on Security of Members. [Time of meeting unknown].
This Forum believes that the Water Executive is such a vital public utility to the people of Northern Ireland that it must remain in public ownership. We call on the present Government to stop wasting public money on the present process to force water privatization on Northern Ireland after the next general election. Further, we call on the Labour Party to make an explicit statement of intent that they will not pursue this privatization policy should they form the next Government.
